Documentary: Once and For All
“ONCE AND FOR ALL” is a feature documentary presented by AOL’s MAKERS that tells the story of the 1995 Beijing Women’s Conference, a watershed event in the global struggle for women’s rights. Through original interviews with Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, actor Jane Fonda and many more global leaders and grassroots activists, the film brings to life the suspenseful months leading up to Beijing and the high-stakes drama of the event itself. It captures the moment when half the world's population found their voice and could no longer be ignored. Twenty years after this breakthrough international gathering, "ONCE AND FOR ALL" offers a window into Beijing’s historic days, its unparalleled impact, and its unfinished promise still so urgent today.
