This is creating a digital divide for people who have learning disabilities and the aging population. Discover how to bridge this divide with the latest research on cognitive web accessibility and the guidance that the W3C Cognitive and Learning Disabilities Accessibility Task Force is developing to address this important field.

Improving Accessibility Without Compromising Usability

A Case study on improving accessibility of a UI component without compromising usability. I will walk through a project that went through several iterations of redesign and development. Due to product requirements and limited space availability, it involved a lot of cross-functional collaboration to tackle accessibility and usability issues. This talk will showcase how one feature evolved to become accessible with great user experience.
