"For your own security," you are constantly asked to identify yourself and provide sensitive information such as your date of birth. Isn't there a smarter way to prove that you are an authorized individual? This talk is about anonymous credentials, which allow you to prove that you are authorized without revealing any other information. More broadly, I will talk about cryptographic algorithms that can make the Internet more secure and better at giving us privacy.
